This year the Midleton & Area Chamber of Commerce recognised the effort and contribution made by Hegarty Properties to the economic development of Midleton. The Chamber acknowledged Adrianna's dedication to the development of Midleton and more recently to the Chamber. The award recognises Adrianna for her outstanding business success and her commitment to successful enterprise through innovation, investment and expansion of services in a competitive marketplace.
Adrianna Hegarty
A native of Co. Monaghan (M.I.A.V.I), Adrianna has enjoyed an impressive career within all aspects of the property consultancy business to date. Having worked for many years with Gunne Auctioneers, Sherry Fitzgerald, Jackson Stops and McCabe Country House Department, Adrianna formed her own business, specialising in hotels, pubs and the second hand housing market. In 1990 her career took an International dimension when she moved to Cyprus to work with the Lordos Property Group. Two years later she moved to the USA where she gained her Californian Real Estate License and worked with Premium Properties in the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles, where she remained for eight years before returning to Ireland in 2000.
Adrianna is a full member of the Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute (I.A.V.I). This qualification required a four year degree level course covering Valuations, Property Law, Construction, Planning, Sales and Marketing.
Peadar Hegarty
Born and raised in Midleton, Peadar was delighted to return to his native Cork in 2000, after many years of working in the International sales and marketing field. His career has seen him working with well-known companies such as Grand Met, Diageo and Glanbia. Hegarty Properties benefits from the combination of this experience and his educational background, an honours degree in Agronomy from UCD, which lend themselves to the commercial and agricultural sales aspect of the business, complimentary to the skills and experience of Adrianna.
I.A.V.I
The I.A.V.I. has stringent entry and practice standards for the protection of the public as well as the profession. Strict membership criteria ensures that members practice to the highest standards in the profession. Members are obliged to keep a written record of all bids received on a property and to take a compulsory insurance policy that offers added protection to the consumer. In addition stringent training ensures that the consumer is offered the most professional advice and support resulting in added value and secure peace of mind.
