Over the last seven years Bulgaria has made impressive progress towards long-term stability and sustained growth with consistent growth in GDP and a currency fixed to the Euro. A recent evaluation of the country's economic performance by the International Monetary Fund indicates strong economic performance continuing in and beyond 2007. The GDP is expected to reach 6% with inflation falling to 4.8%.
